Explore the many ways you can get involved and let us know how you would like to help.
What makes a house a home? Our in-house volunteers do. They are an essential part of creating a caring and supportive community for families while performing essential household tasks. This may include welcoming guests, preparing and cleaning rooms for new families, helping out with household chores/upkeep, baking, assisting with clerical tasks, conducting House tours, and being a supportive listener for families. Volunteer job description
Make a meal for families
There is nothing more fun and rewarding than getting together with your co-workers, friends and/or family members to make a meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. We provide the kitchen -- you provide the food and volunteers! We encourage you to volunteer on a regular basis, such as once a month or once a year.
Help out at one of our big events
Attending fundraising events is a great way to give back, but being part of the planning and execution is an even more rewarding experience. Each year, Ronald McDonald House Charities hosts a golf tournament and the Hearts & Hands Auction. These two events raise approximately 25-30% of RMHC's annual operating budget. The success of these hallmark events is dependent on hundreds of committee and event volunteers like you!
Make a day of it
Let us help you plan your next community service day at the Ronald McDonald House. Each year, we rely on hundreds of volunteers to help us out around the house -- housekeeping, gardening and spring clean-up are just a few ways to make an impact.
Sign up to volunteer and a Volunteer Coordinator will contact you within 7-10 business days .
